Driven by the excellent experience IOTA kontestu 2008. year and taking diplomicom for 3rd place in the category IOTA FIX SOA SSB 12H LP and this year I will with great pleasure to work in the IOTA contest from Novalja on Pag island EU-170. Unfortunately, a better antenna than Diamondice CP-6 have, but it will be used. I hope it will be ok and propagation, and I'll do a bit of luck and that a new DXCC. To end a call to all to join and look me in the short-wave frequencies.

Received diplomas for 3 place in the Islands on the Air Contest 2008! As I already wrote in October last year when they released the unofficial results (full article here), I competed for the first time and in the category of Iceland, Single-Operator Assisted, SSB 12h, Low Power, and achieved a total of 67,905 points, which was enough for 3 place. This year the 1st pucam place in the overall HI.

Sunday, October 26th, 2008 | A few days ago were released unofficial results of this year's Islands on the Air (IOTA) competition. The competition lasted from Saturday 26th July at 12:00 UTC to Sunday July 27 at 12.00 per UTC. I am participating in the competition for the first time and the results I reported in this category IOTA FIX SOA SSB 12H LP, which would mean that I worked only with fonijom island (Pag), 12 hours, low power (up to 100W) with the help of dx cluster. I won 67,905 points and I am on 804th site of the 1802 competitors in total poredku all categories. In a given category I mentioned above on the 3rd place! In any case I am satisfied because my goal was primarily to acquire experience in a competition on short wave and do the new entity. I think I'm in it and failed. In the contest I worked with a Kenwood TS-450S and CP-6 Diamond antenna.

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 | She finished this season, and Zagreb's FM Contest. Amateur radio station 9a5BDD the still unofficial results is on the 24th A place kategori (one operator) and the 11th place in the category D (from Zagreb). Of course that placement could be better, but that this is only my first participation in this competition and when you take into account that I participated in only the first two periods (April and May) with a score like this I am satisfied. And besides, I was at first a period of time. Other results, see the websites Zagreb Radio Club. What is the distribution of prizes and diplomas concerned it could be held as early as 11 months. However, this is my unofficial opinion. And all the official and accurate information on time will be posted on the websites RKZ-a.

Monday, October 1st, 2007 | Organizer "Adriatic Cup," the Croatian Amateur Radio Association. The goal of the increase in activity of the Croatian KV station in competitions, especially the popularization activities with the Croatian islands and coastal regions. The competition is held every year on Saturday, the second full weekend in October.
Frequency and types of work:
Competition will be held at 80 m range, types of CW and SSB.
Used frequencies 3 510 ... 3 590 kHz for CW and 3 620 ... 3 750 for SSB.
The competition is held in the four periods as follows:
I. period 16:00-16:29 - CW
II. period 16:30-16:59 - SSB,
III. period 17:00-17:29 - CW
IV. period 17:30-17:59 - SSB (all local time).

Saturday, September 29th, 2007 | Mark the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment and operation of the Association of the Blind Zagreb, Radio Club of the Blind "Louis Braille" in Zagreb, 9A1CBT, and organizing national competition on FM 144 MHz "hand of friendship". This competition is affirmation of the contribution and integration of the blind amateur radio, who want to maintain ties with other amateurs to show their skills, knowledge and capabilities in handling equipment and radiouređajima.
