Unofficial results of Islands on the Air Contest 2009 were published a few days ago. Although we bodovno result was worse than last year, but I managed, in its category osvojiiti better place. So I climbed this year to step more on the 2 location! If we continue like this until my 1st guaranteed a place. HI! 9A and the other stations have achieved noticeable results, you can check here.
Driven by the excellent experience IOTA kontestu 2008. year and taking diplomicom for 3rd place in the category IOTA FIX SOA SSB 12H LP and this year I will with great pleasure to work in the IOTA contest from Novalja on Pag island EU-170. Unfortunately, a better antenna than Diamondice CP-6 have, but it will be used. I hope it will be ok and propagation, and I'll do a bit of luck and that a new DXCC. Received diplomas for 3 place in the Islands on the Air Contest 2008! As I already wrote in October last year when they released the unofficial results (full article here), I competed for the first time and in the category of Iceland, Single-Operator Assisted, SSB 12h, Low Power, and achieved a total of 67,905 points, which was enough for 3 place. This year the 1st pucam place in the overall HI.
A few days ago were released unofficial results of this year's Islands on the Air (IOTA) competition. The competition lasted from Saturday 26th July at 12:00 UTC to Sunday July 27 at 12.00 per UTC. I am participating in the competition for the first time and the results I reported in this category IOTA FIX SOA SSB 12H LP, which would mean that I worked only with fonijom island (Pag), 12 hours, low power (up to 100W) with the help of dx cluster. I won 67,905 points and I am on 804th site of the 1802 competitors in total poredku all categories. In a given category I mentioned above on the 3rd place! In any case I am satisfied because my goal was primarily to acquire experience in a competition on short wave and do the new entity. I think I'm in it and failed. In the contest I worked with a Kenwood TS-450S and CP-6 Diamond antenna.
